Questions about ACME Productions

Event production, services, quotes, deliverables, insurance and the brands in the network.

What does ACME Productions do?

ACME Productions produces complete events and the content around them for brands, event organizers and media companies: event production and coverage, branded series, post-production and talent representation, with on-camera talent and the crew to deliver from treatment to finished masters.

What does complete event production include?

Complete event production: interviews, host and MC, filming, photography, drone, red carpet, step and repeat, runway, model sourcing, Getty Images sourcing, broadcast coverage and post-production. Peter Ronen runs it with one crew, one schedule and one edit, and each part can also be booked on its own. The event production page shows how a production day runs.

Can you fly a drone at our event?

Yes, where the venue and local airspace rules allow. Aerial shots of the venue, the arrivals and the crowd are planned with the venue before the day.

Can you cast models and source images?

Yes. Models are cast and booked for runway shows, presentations and campaigns, and editorial or archive imagery is sourced through Getty Images for press releases, recaps and features.

Which brands are in the ACME network?

New York Fashion Times is the primary outlet, with 450K subscribers on YouTube at @nyft. The network also includes Fashion News, Fashion News: After Dark, Wine & Beer Tasting, The Media Brief. ACME also produces Nothing to Report for Show Me Television and is a Narrative Partner of Civic Forecast.

Can my brand or event appear on New York Fashion Times?

Designers, brands and event organizers can request coverage, an interview or a sponsored feature. NYFT publishes to its 450K YouTube subscribers at @nyft. Coverage is editorial and never guaranteed; send the details through the form and we will reply with options.

Who is behind ACME Productions?

Peter Ronen (IMDb: https://www.imdb.com/name/nm17188307/), director, host, producer and editor. He directs, hosts and edits the network's programs himself and runs each production from treatment to delivery. His credits are listed on IMDb.

Is ACME Productions insured?

Yes. ACME Productions carries errors and omissions (E&O) cover and is insured for interview and event production up to $1 million (production liability). Certificates of insurance are supplied on request. Venues, outlets and client procurement teams can ask for the certificate with their quote.

How much does a production cost?

Every job is quoted individually, based on the event, the crew and talent needed, and the deliverables. Quotes come from an insured production company (Errors and omissions (E&O) and production liability up to $1 million), so there is nothing to add for coverage. Send the details through the Work with us form and we will reply with a quote.

What do you deliver?

Every format has a fixed set of cuts and a schedule. A client event package delivers 12 cuts: 3 same-day social verticals the same day, 5 interview pull verticals and 2 feed post cuts by day 3, a highlight reel by day 5 and a sizzle by day 7. All come in vertical and horizontal versions as needed, with captions and lower thirds, checked against the delivery spec before they go out. Editable DaVinci Resolve projects can be handed over with the masters.

What kinds of events do you cover?

Fashion weeks and red carpets, film festivals, wine and beer trade events, tech conferences, launches and industry events such as ALM, along with commissioned client events.

Do you represent on-camera talent?

Yes. ACME represents hosts and on-screen talent and books them for events, campaigns and productions. Booking requests go through the same form.

Where are you based?

ACME Productions is based in Los Angeles, and covers events in New York, Miami, Palm Springs and elsewhere.
